Acadia Pipe Organs Ltd, (APO) was established in 2016 as a full-service organ building and restoration business to address the needs of the community, and to ensure the continued availability of highly qualified and dedicated artisans to curate and care for the precious and unique instruments of Atlantic Canada.  

APO also uses apprentice programs to teach the skills, knowledge and appreciation necessary in the art of organ-building. Founder, Colin Walsh, has a career that has encompassed the restoration of centuries-old tracker instruments to the rebuilding of modern instruments ,incorporating the most advanced technologies, and the design and manufacturing of new instruments. Throughout his career, he has strived to continue and enhance the art of organ-building, and is responsible for dozens of faithful restorations and rebuilt organs throughout the area.
